I will be lecturing about Quilt restoration and repair on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at the Savannah Quilt Guild, Southside Baptist Church 5502 Skidaway Road, Savannah, GA.

We will be talking about differences between conservation, restoration and repair.  You’ll learn how to assess the quilt for its condition and personal value and how to clean it by several different methods. And you’ll learn what is involved in making repairs.  If you don’t want to do the work yourself, we’ll talk about approximate cost and how to find someone to do it. We’ll also talk about alternatives if it’s beyond repair.
